Serving as an election commissioner for the Parliamentary election in #kosova at the Consulate of rep. Kosova in Copenhagen on Saturday, after being awake since 4 a.m., having had my first and only meal of the day around 1 p.m., finishing the election and electoral process shortly after 8 p.m., followed by a Live interview with the Danish media #tv2news that same evening regarding the organization of the protest in Copenhagen for #albania’s beautiful and unique island of Sazan and the Vjosa-Narta area; then ending the day with planning and preparations alongside my fellow organizers until midnight… and everything in between.

The Albanian Embassy and the ambassador were notified, while more than one hundred citizens gathered from near and far, from Jylland, Fyn, and even Sweden!

On Sunday, we stood together and raised our voices with a united message: to save our beloved Sazan Island, Vjosa-Narta, and Zvernec on Albania’s western coast from the luxury resort development project.

Final preparations and testing had to be completed before the protest from early morning, several interviews had to be given to the Danish media DR1 and TV 2 Nyheder, and just 30 minutes before the protest began, I learned that my brother had to be admitted to the hospital.

The Albanian national anthem opened the demonstration, the first speakers took the stage, and side by side we stood in solidarity with the thousands of protesters who have been demonstrating in Tirana and around the World for days.

In the heart of Copenhagen, we highlighted the fight to protect the flamingos, pelicans, and all the wildlife species of Sazan and Vjosa-Narta!
